Everything you need to master Ordo Todo
Connect Ordo to ChatGPT
Ask ChatGPT to organize your day, create tasks or summarize your week, with your real Ordo data.
Guided connection
You do not need to copy or understand anything technical. Just follow these steps:
Open ChatGPT connectors
In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Connectors. If you do not see a create option, enable Developer mode under Connectors → Advanced settings (paid plans).
Create a custom connector
Press Create (or Add custom MCP server). Name it Ordo and paste this URL: https://api.ordotodo.app/mcp
Choose OAuth and approve
Under authentication, choose OAuth. Your browser will open Ordo: sign in if needed, review the permissions on the consent screen and press Allow. You will return automatically to complete the connection.
Enable Ordo and try it
In a conversation, enable Ordo from the apps menu (+ icon) and type: what tasks do I have today? It will answer with your real data.
Manual setup (Codex and terminal)
If you use Codex or prefer to set it up by hand, add this block to your ~/.codex/config.toml file:
Configuration block
[mcp_servers.ordo] url = "https://api.ordotodo.app/mcp" # On first use, Codex will open the browser so you approve with your Ordo account.
Save the file, restart Codex and ask: list my Ordo projects. If it answers with your real projects, it is connected.
Codex › which tasks are due this week?
If something fails
The browser shows an error when approving
Close the tab, make sure you are signed in to Ordo in that browser, and try again from ChatGPT.
ChatGPT is not using your Ordo data
Check under Settings → Connectors that Ordo shows as connected and is enabled in the current conversation. Otherwise, create it again with the exact URL.
Codex does not show Ordo tools
Check that the URL in config.toml is exactly the one above, with no extra spaces or trailing slash, and restart Codex.
Official listing on the way
We are publishing Ordo to the ChatGPT directory. Meanwhile, the manual setup above uses the same secure connection.
